My name is Cameron Blake and in June 2015 I embarked on a massive road trip with my family from Southern Tasmania to the very tip of Australia in Cape York. The Great Barrier Reef Drive, between Cairns and Cape Tribulation is one of the definite highlights.
It was my first visit to Tropical North Queensland and I was taken by the shear beauty of the region, ranging from epic waterfalls to endless beaches. A four week road trip was a welcomed change from the cooler climate of Tasmania.
We travelled through some amazing regions on this journey but it was Tropical North Queensland that truly captured my attention. Here are some of my favourite places from our road trip.
Have you done the trip to the tip of Australia? What were your favourite places to stop along the way?
